Starodubtseva, Lida
Lida Starodubtseva, born in 1982 in Petrozavodsk, Russian Karelia, has been living in Skåne, Sweden, since 2011. She is a literary translator, author, language teacher, and cultural writer.
She made her debut as an author in 2023 with the short story collection En oändligt lång vår ("An Endlessly Long Spring", Nirstedts/litteratur, Stockholm). The book was published in Russian, translated by the author herself, by Black Sheep Books, Moscow).
In the summer of 2026, the novel Hilja går (Nirstedt/litteratur, Stockholm) will be released; in Russian the book will be published by Shellf, Belgrade, translated by the author herself.
