Ilona Nykyri (1952–April 29, 2017), born in Toholampi and most of her life living in Oulu, was a Finnish translator who translated fiction literature from German into Finnish.

Nykyri received the Mikael Agricola Award in 2014 for her Finnish translation of Hans Fallada’s "Allein in Berlin" (Alone in Berlin). Notable previous translations include Thomas Mann’s "Buddenbrooks" and Robert Walser’s "Kävelyretki ja muita kertomuksia" (A Walk and Other Stories), which was also nominated for the Agricola Prize in 2013.
